Business process automation · London

I find the work your team repeats by hand. Then I build a system that does it.

Three examples, and how we would start

Where the time goes

Three situations I see often. They are illustrations, not named clients. The numbers show the scale, not a promise.

Example · Wholesale, 40 staff

The Monday report

Today
Every Monday the operations manager rebuilds the leadership report by hand. Sales come from the accounts system, stock from the warehouse system, deliveries from the courier's website. It takes most of the morning, and the figures are a day old by the meeting.
What I would build
The report builds itself overnight from the same three systems and is in the inbox at 7am. The manager reads it, checks anything flagged, and adds comments.
What changes
About 5 hours a week back. Roughly 230 hours a year.

Example · Professional services, 25 staff

Setting up a new client

Today
When a proposal is signed, someone copies the client's details into the customer database (CRM), the billing system and the project tracker. Then they email three colleagues. It takes about 40 minutes a client, and something small is usually missed.
What I would build
Signing the proposal starts it. The records appear in all three systems, the right people are told, and anything missing is flagged for a person to fill in.
What changes
At 30 new clients a month, about 20 hours a month back, and no half-set-up accounts.

Example · Illustration

Early warning on suppliers

Today
A distributor found out its main supplier had gone into administration when deliveries stopped. The signs had been public for weeks, in Companies House filings and insolvency notices.
What I would build
A system reads those public records every night for the companies you depend on. It emails you the morning something changes, such as overdue accounts or a winding-up petition.
What changes
Weeks of warning instead of none.

How we would start

  1. 1

    A 30-minute call, free

You tell me where the time goes. I ask how the work actually moves.

  2. 2

    A one-page summary

Where time is lost, what I would automate first, and why. It is yours to keep, whether or not we work together.

  3. 3

A first system, checked by a person

It does the work and someone checks every result. It runs alone only once the results are consistently right.

  4. 4

    It runs, and reports

You get a regular report of what it did, and of anything it could not do.
